About the Event
THE LOCAL ACTION FOR THE GLOBAL SOLIDARITY OF THE SUPPORT DON'T PUNISH;
On 26th June of 2019, thousands of people will take part in events in more than 130 cities across more than 70 countries – as part of the Support Don’t Punish campaign’s ‘Global Day of Action’.
OVERVIEW BACKGROUND OF THE GLOBAL CAMPAIGN ACTION;
By organizing the upcoming community event of '#SupportDontPunish Feat #AlternativeTreatment' - an initiative collective action initiate by Awaken Resistance, who will be joining partners from all continents in proclaiming that the harms being caused by the so-called ‘war on drugs’ can no longer be ignored. It is time to leave behind harmful politics, ideology and prejudice. It is time to prioritize health and human rights over-incarceration and futile efforts to achieve a ‘drug-free world’. It is time to support, and not punish people who use drugs and other non-violent drug offenders.

Groove the Night for a Cause
The admission fees is $130/- (SGD). Fees collected are to assist for the movement financial overhead budgeting such the venue rental fees, including other miscellaneous financial budgeting expanses. Whereby, an automatically deduction of 30% from the admission fees ticket price and to channel directly into Awaken Resistance, local befriended partner action of She Decides Voices Project Community Online/offline Fundraising Campaign Action Drive.
